Lewis J. Goetz, FAIA, FIIDA
President & CEO
Lewis J. Goetz, the founding principal, President and CEO of Group Goetz Architects, brings his long-term vision and design talent to every facet of the architecture and interiors practices. With over 35 years of experience, he guides the firm in projects ranging from strategic facility planning, building design and building renovations, to innovative interior designs, and graphics. Mr. Goetz leads the firm and directs design, assuring the firm’s forward-thinking, innovative and superior quality designs.
Mr. Goetz is an internationally recognized expert in both the architectural field and workplace design, and is one of only five individuals to be both a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects and the International Interior Design Association. His understanding of buildings from the inside out forms the fundamental approach to GGA’s designs.
Mary Ellen Curto
Chief Operations Officer
Mary Ellen Curto, Chief Operations Officer, has been leading GGA’s operations for 20 years. Ms. Curto is responsible for directing all operational aspects of the company by providing leadership, management, and vision to ensure that GGA is true to its stated mission and core values. As an Executive Committee Officer, she is responsible for motivating and leading a high-performance management team by providing overall strategic direction, business planning and control, establishing best practices operating standards and procedures, insuring exceptional client satisfaction, and attaining the financial goals of GGA’s strategic business plan.
Elizabeth Cockerham
Chief Administrative Officer
Ms. Cockerham, Chief Administrative Officer, has been directing GGA’s human resource’s programs and administrative office services for 19 years. She is responsible for implementing the company’s strategic human resources goals and, as an Executive Officer, is responsible for making recommendations in the recruitment procedures that assist in attracting and retaining the best employees. Additionally, Ms. Cockerham is responsible for creating a program that develops and motivates current and potential employees to assist in meeting the leadership needs of the firm.

Alfred H. Gooden, III
Principal
Alfred Gooden has 30 years of experience with GGA and brings extensive architectural and interiors knowledge, technical expertise, and three decades of design experience to GGA’s projects. Mr. Gooden leads the firm’s construction administration efforts and the technical QA/QC process. On high profile projects, Mr. Gooden serves as Senior Project Manager, delivering high caliber design and services to legal, corporate, institutional, not-for-profit, and high-tech award-winning projects. Mr. Gooden’s work includes high profile projects for ExxonMobil, OAS, AFL-CIO, Foley & Lardner, and Georgetown Law Center.

Mansour Maboudian, Assoc. AIA,
LEED AP
Principal and Director of Sustainable Design
Mr. Maboudian, an award-winning architectural designer, has over 20 years of experience with GGA. In addition to his design capabilities, he offers perspective insight, effective decision-making skills and a key problem-solving approach to each project. Mr. Maboudian’s designs for notable clients such as NASA, the Smithsonian Institutions, The World Bank, and Lucent Technologies, were the recipient of numerous national design awards from prestigious organizations including the American Institute of Architects and the International Interior Design Association.
Additionally, Mr. Maboudian shared his extensive knowledge of architectural design as an invited Professor of Architecture at the Department of Industrial Design of Seoul National University in Korea, where he conducted a number of postgraduate theoretical design studies and design studios.
